- What is faith based marriage counseling?
- Marriage help where your faith is part of the work, not left at the door. Prayer, scripture and covenant sit alongside practical skills for communication, conflict repair, money, parenting and intimacy.
- Are sessions online?
- Yes. Every session is virtual by video, from home or your office, and you can join from two separate places when that is easier. Nothing is recorded.
- Do we have to belong to a church?
- No. Couples from any church background, and couples still working out what they believe, are welcome. Beliefs are one of the honest conversations we help you have.
- What if we do not agree spiritually?
- That is one of the most common quiet strains in a marriage. We help you name where you differ, decide how you will worship, give and raise children, and stop treating disagreement as betrayal.
- Who are the pastors?
- Leo and Tarran Carter — high school sweethearts married since 1983, ordained in 2005 under Pastor Donnie McClurkin, counseling couples since 1999, and founders of Perfecting Praise Ministries. Leo served as director of pastoral services at St. Mary's in Syosset, New York.
- What does it cost?
- Sessions are $95 for 50 minutes, $350 for four, and $640 for eight. The app for both partners is $29 per month or $249 per year.
